The reserves held the visitors to a draw while the seniors lost their match. This weekend we are away to Naomh Padraig, Uisce Chaoin in the first match of the Junior A Championship. See Facebook for throw in times. The U-18 lads played their first Championship match of the season when they welcomed Termon to Pairc na nGael. This fast paced game was level at half time but the visitors were victorious in the end.Our young Camogs from U-8 to U-12 travelled to Carndonagh at the weekend. The U-12’s played a competitive match and played with great skill especially in the second half while the younger girls played an enjoyable challenge match. The girls had a great time and the evening was topped off with the usual Carn hospitality.The U-12 hurlers played Buncrana last Thursday and despite a great performance from the young Gaels the Inishowen men finished on top.The U-8 footballers were on the road again when they travelled to Robert Emmetts for another blitz on Saturday. They played mini games against Robert Emmetts and St. Michaels. Thanks to the parents and supporters for coming along. Training continues on Wednesday evenings at 7pmand Sunday mornings at 11am. The U-12 footballers had mixed results during the week when they welcomed St. Eunans to the Glebe. The ‘A’ team recorded a good win while the young development team lost out by a few points. This match was followed up on Monday when the lads travelled to Newton to take on neighbours Naomh Colmcille. The ‘A’ team were again victorious while the development squad lost out by 4 points. Training continues on Monday & Friday evenings from 6.30-7.30pm at the pitch. New players welcome.With the summer holidays fast approaching we have finalised dates for our Hurling Fun Week, Camogie Crew & Cúl Camp.The Hurling Fun week runs from 6th to 10th of July, Cúl Camp is from 27th to 31st July and the Camogie Crew is confirmed for the 22nd to 24th July.Any business interested in getting a pitch side ad should contact Dan on (086) 739 2780 for more details.Underage football coaching continues at 11am every Sunday (U-6, U-8 & U-10’s) and Wednesday ( U-8 & U-10) at 7pm at Pairc na nGael. New members welcome.Camogie training continues at the pitch on Mondays from 6-7pm for U-14 and older girls and Fridays from 6.30-8pm at the pitch for U-8, U-10 & U-12.
