They defeated the Inishowen side 0-8 to 0-5 in horrible wet cold conditions. A lot of positives have been taken from training in the build up to the league campaign as well as the two friendlies over Cloughaneely and Burt. Manager Aodh McCormack will no doubt be pleased with the progress evident today as the lads have been putting in great work in the past few weeks and signs bode well for the season as this team is full of potential. Our won Amber Barrett hit the net for the third game running and ended up with a fine personal tally of 1-4. Donegal’s next league game is home to Kildare on 1st March.*Freshers B All Ireland Championship*Hard luck to Sean Black and his UUJ colleagues who were defeated 3-3 to 1-2 by UCD in the All Ireland Freshers B Championship Semi Final on Monday.*Sympathies*The Club would like to extend its sympathies to the O’Donnells of lower Mt Marion, Milford, and extended family on the death of Paddy at the weekend. Paddy was grandfather of Senior players Joey Cullen and Adam Serrinha. Funeral took place on Tuesday in St Peters church, Milford. May he rest in peace.*Congratulations*The Club would like to extend congratulations to club man Paul Fisher on his wedding to Grainne at the weekend.
