Brian Cooper of Oxford funeral is set for Wednesday, Sept. 25

first_imgA Memorial Service will be held for Brian Cooper on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Oxford Cemetery.  The family will greet friends at the visitation on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oxford Funeral Service.  Memorial contributions have been established with the Diabetes Foundation of America. Contributions may be made through the funeral home. Brian was born on October 22, 1968 in Wellington, the son of Herbert Eldon and Karen Sue (McDonald) Cooper.  He was raised in Oxford, where he attended school.  After high school, he started his truck driving career.  He worked for several trucking companies including, L.B. White, MBI and National Carriers, Inc.  He just recently was employed with Rubbermaid as a fork lift operator.  Brian was baptized in the Oxford Christian Church.His family includes: his daughters: Courtney Cooper and fiance’ Aaron Beal of Wichita, and Cheyenne Cooper of South Carolina; and his son Montana Streeter of Winfield; His mother: Karen Sandstrum and Phil of Rock, Kansas, his sister: Penny Lister and husband Kelly of Winfield; his nephews: Matt Nelson of Winfield, Shawn and Jacob Nelson of Duncan, Okla.; his Grandmother: Helen McDonald of Winfield and his aunt and uncle; Robert and Jeraldine Cooper of Grove, Okla.  He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Carl T. Cooper, Pearl Ogden Cooper and Everette McDonald.last_img
