Astros, Gerrit Cole go through arbitration hearing

first_imgThe Astros and starting pitcher Gerrit Cole are in arbitration this week.Cole’s hearing was Monday and the arbitrators overseeing the case are expected to rule sometime this week, according to The Associated Press. Cole, 28, is coming off of a career year with the Astros in which he went 15-5 with a 2.88 ERA in 32 starts. He struck out 276 batters in 200 1/3 innings.
