We seek ahighly motivated exceptional individual who has demonstratedexcellence in research, engaged in high-quality teaching andmentored students at the undergraduate level, and is eager to workin a collaborative and interdisciplinary research environment. Thesuccessful candidate is expected to have a demonstrated trackrecord in leading an independent research group with extramuralfunding and in mentoring junior faculty. The applicant shoulddisplay a level of achievements that would qualify for appointmentat the rank of Associate/Full professor. Appointment requires demonstration of sustained and ongoingextramural funding, excellent scholarly research program involvingundergraduates, and teaching proficiency. The successful candidateswill be expected to mentor undergraduate research students andteach undergraduate courses.
