Physical Demands Application Instructions:Applicants MUST Submit the following documents: Job Description:The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is responsible forassisting the Director of Nursing in the management and delivery ofthe Registered Nurse associate degree program. The ADONparticipates with management of day-to-day tasks and curriculumdevelopment. The ADON is responsible for clinical site agreementsand for tracking. The ADON is responsible for documenting allaspects of the Systematic Evaluation Plan (SEP). The ADON willparticipate with advisory board collaboration; programaccreditations and innovative delivery of instruction. The ADONwill assist the Director in assuring all programs meet state andnational requirements. ADON will be responsible for reviewing andresolving student issues and grievances using approved BORNregulations and RCC policies. The ADON will establish, coordinateand maintain student representatives and student governance as itrelates to the nursing program. ADON will participate in nursingand college governance.Supervision Received: The ADON reports to the Director ofNursingSupervision Exercised: N/ADuties and Responsibilities: Normal office physical demands.Ability to travel between campus locations and communityevents.Ability to travel in state and nationally.center_img Working Conditions Master of Science in Nursing degree from a regionallyaccredited institution of higher education in the US.Current, valid and unencumbered RN licensure in theCommonwealth of Massachusetts.Three years teaching in an accredited community college, orother accredited higher education institution.Knowledge of accreditation standards, and ability to lead there-accreditation process.Experience in urban multicultural higher education, laboratoryand clinical settings.Familiarity with multiple education modalities includingsimulation and online learning.Superior interpersonal skills.
